Help protect religious liberty from ENDA

Since the 2006 election, Congress has been working
to pass legislation that would threaten employers' and employees' freedom of
religion, speech and association. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA)
elevates homosexuality and transgenderism to a protected status in
employment, which unfairly places burdens on employers' hiring decisions and
on the ability of employees to share their beliefs about God's design for
human sexuality, marriage and family.

Please join us in urging Congress
to support our freedoms by opposing ENDA when it comes to a
vote, possibly before the upcoming Memorial Day holiday. After
you've signed our ENDA petition, please look for the
"forward-to-a-friend" e-mail you can forward to your family and
friends to ask them to join you. Our members of Congress need to
hear from all of us! Thank you for taking the time to make your
voice heard in support of our precious freedoms of religion,
speech and association.
The Petition States:
Dear Members of Congress,
As an American, I urge you to protect
my freedoms of religion, speech and association by opposing the
Employment Non-Discrimination Act. This bill will severely
threaten my deeply held religious beliefs.
Sexual self-identity and behavior should not be elevated to the
same protected status as that currently given on the basis of
race, creed, color or national origin
Our founding documents guarantee the rights to freedom of
speech, religion and association. ENDA directly attacks those
rights. As my elected representative, I call upon you to do all
in your power to protect our constitutional freedoms by opposing
ENDA.
